Access
Increased Access to University Education
We need to build a society where access to education, healthcare and housing is a right not a privilege. Thousands of our citizens are denied these rights. For example, people with a disability, people on hospital waiting lists and homeless people are all denied access to basic services that are essential for a decent standard of living. For too long the basic needs of thousands of Irish citizens have been put on the long finger. This discrimination cannot be tolerated. As citizens we all have a right to participate in society. The State should vindicate this right by ensuring that each and every citizen has access to education, healthcare and housing. I am determined to work, if elected , to ensure that our citizens get the basic rights they deserve.
